Let’s Say Donald Trump COULD “Cancel” The Next Election — What Then?

The thing we keep re-learning during our run-in with Trumpism is that there truly is no “bottom”. There is literally NOTHING Donald Trump won’t do to dismantle, undermine, betray, sell out or destroy our Democracy. His very well-being depends on his staying in power. Remember — we may think of him as just “Donald Trump” but the SDNY still sees him as “Unindicted Co-Conspirator #1” in the case of the People v Michael Cohen.

The reason Robert Mueller felt so hamstrung (other than his total fealty to the rules) by his assignment is that he believed he was prohibited by DoJ rules from indicting a sitting president. If Robert Mueller had not felt constrained by that bit of DoJ leftover from the Nixon years, all indications are he would have recommended prosecution — of Trump & everyone around him.

As we were painfully slow to grasp: our problem isn’t just Donald J Trump. Our problem is his party. The Republicans aren’t loyal to Trump out of fear — though some may be and some may have been pushed here because they were compromised — they’re loyal to Trump out of shared purpose. Most Republicans have as much use for representative democracy as Trump does.

Chief Justice John Roberts has made it clear that the SCOTUS is now part of the Republican machine. Forcing Wisconsinites to vote in person today — disallowing any extension of vote-by-mail deadlines — is a pure power grab and a blatant example of voter suppression. The SCOTUS okayed Wisconsin THROWING OUT thousands of legitimate votes. If those were guaranteed Republican votes, do ya think we’d be having this conversation?

Regardless of what Trump does, he cannot cancel the election. He can however do everything in his power to make it as far from free & fair as possible. He could conceivably — because he’s good at cheating as is the rest of his party — “win” again. Let’s go there. Let’s say that happens.

Let’s say Trump manages to “win” an election and create a situation where enough people go along with the bullshit that there’s an ounce of legitimacy to it. Let’s say Trump DOES stay in the White House. What would happen then.

Well, at first — let’s be real — things will get brutal. Trump will go after his enemies. He’ll shut what’s left of America down. It may even look for a couple of seconds like the bad guys really will get away with everything. But then reality will kick in — and some things will happen that neither Trump nor any Republican can do anything about.

For starters, the coronavirus will come around again. And when it does, Trump & the Republicans will fuck up the response just as badly. It’s in their nature.

As Americans grow angrier at what Trump & the Republicans have done — and we WILL learn exactly just how responsible Trump & the Republicans are for the extent of the “carnage” here in America — their desire for retribution will not dim. Rather, it will begin to glow with volcanic intensity. I wouldn’t count on the military or many police departments to be there to back up any Republican power play.

But, let’s say — for shits n giggles — that Trump does get the military & PDs to go along with his authoritarian power grab. Here’s one Judgment Day even Donald Trump can’t get out of. One way or another — sooner or later — Donald Trump will die. He’s not exactly the healthiest person walking around; that means it could strike Trump suddenly.

Take Trump out of the equation and what happens? Would all the other Republicans be able to keep this fascist monstrosity together? Don’t forget — this IS a cult of personality. It’s not based on the law or anything. They’re making the “rules” up as they go along — and the only thing holding it all together is Donald Trump himself. The fact that he “is”.

So — now, let’s say, he “isn’t” anymore.

Take this to the bank: no one’s filling that vacuum. Oh, various Republicans will try. But the air will have suddenly rushed out of the toxic side show. Being pirates, all of them out for themselves, the Republicans will grab for power themselves. They’ll go after the Trump kids — cos they won’t want Ivanka or Junior or Eric lording anything over the once daddy is gone.

While America watches, the Republicans will finish this exercise in self-destruction all by themselves. They will feed on themselves like a school of ravenous but stupid piranhas.

It’s just a fact. At some point, what the Republicans have done & are doing will end — because Trump will. And without Trump being the front man, the con artist di tutti con artists — the reality show star — the press will stop behaving like co-dependent hop heads. Think any other Republican can get up before the cameras and get away with shit the way Trump does?

Name them.

The Republicans — being short-sighted day traders by nature — will never look down the road to see what’s coming at them. They believe in magic. They believe that once they shove permanent minority rule down the majority’s throat that they’ll get to live “happily ever after”.

They have no idea how incredibly wrong they are.

Show Me An “Uber Christian” & I’ll Show You A Man Who Thinks HE’S “God”

A few days ago Attorney-General-From-Hell Bill Barr gave a speech to the Federalist Society — that bastion of soft, white, institutional bigotry — in which he (again) donned his full Cultural Warrior battle armor.

Barr has a history of stepping in and deflecting justice. He did it most recently by hijacking both the end of Robert Mueller’s investigation and Mueller’s written report. Barr’s gross mischaracterizations of the Report’s conclusions weren’t semantics or “differences of interpretation”. They were a blatant attempt to convince the American public (via its terrible at details news media) that Mueller’s work exonerated Trump — that it cleared him of “collusion” and came to no conclusions about obstructive behaviors.

That is NOT what Mueller’s report says. It says they couldn’t come to any conclusions about whether or not Trump conspired with Russia (via Wikileaks — Mueller’s purview wasn’t the entirety of Trump-Russia, it was a narrow, narrow slice) because they were met with so much OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE. To back up THAT assessment, the Report listed (with receipts) 10 specific obstructive acts.

Barr’s history of bamboozlement goes back to the Bush Administration (Junior’s). Bill Barr circumvented justice during Iran-Contra — insisting THEN that Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger was being treated unfairly by the people accusing him of being a corrupt criminal undermining the Rule Of Law.

Bill Barr’s never behaved this way on the behalf of a Democratic POTUS. I guess all that Unitary Executive Power actually works when the POTUS is Republican. I find it hard to believe that Bill Barr’s dick would get this hard on behalf of Barack Obama’s executive power.

Bill Barr calls himself a Christian. He ain’t no follower of Jesus — that’s for damned sure. Bill Barr wouldn’t know Jesus if he stopped mid-way through nailing Jesus to a cross to spit in Jesus’s eye. Bill Barr is a “churchist”. Bill loves the INSTITUTION that Paul created. Being a die-hard Catholic, Bill loves his church above all else.

Funny thing? Jesus preached AGAINST having churches. He taught that no one needed temples or priests; one could speak directly to “the father”. In other words — a follower of Jesus does not need a church. They don’t want one — because churches are antithetical to Jesus’s most core teaching.

In theory, Bill Barr should love Jesus because Jesus would tell Bill — “Hey, Bill — talk to God, why don’tcha!” But that’s not where Bill’s head is at. He’s still riled up about something. Just talking directly to his deity doesn’t satisfy him. He’s still yapping. Someone’s telling him — “Not good enough, Bill! Go further!”

Now, Bill would say “It was God telling me that”. But, as we know, Bill picks & chooses his articles of faith ever so carefully. He supports and follows and does the bidding of people Jesus would absolutely disprove of. And if Jesus doesn’t like them — what’s in it for God? Are God and Jesus not in agreement about something? Something basic?

No — it’s because the only voice in Bill Barr’s head is Bill’s. Bill doesn’t hear “God”, he hears BILL. Bill may say he “speaks for God” or “understands God” (better than YOU — that’s the suggestion. It’s remarkably arrogant. It’s remarkably arrogant for bullshit.

Bill Barr’s hardly alone in this freak show. Pick the name of any televangelist out of a hat and you have another extreme perversion of (never mind Jesus) Christianity’s most basic message — you have a money changer fooling the faithful. The way every one of these assholes struts — insists they speak for the Divine (and you don’t) — rakes in the cold, hard cash — it’s as far removed from Jesus as human decency or honesty is from a Trump.

What is a Catholic Pope except an attempt to create a “god” who hears God (better than you)? A pope becomes “infallible”. What does that even mean? Infallible in what sense? If we make him draw a perfect likeness of the guy standing next to him — and he fails — does that mean he’s NOT infallible or that we need to redefine “infallible” to include “this”?

It’s ludicrous. Worse — it’s bullshit. Anyone who says they speak on behalf of a deity thinks THEY are the deity.

Fact.

Picture of a man literally praying to himself…

How Must Robert Mueller Feel About Being A “R”epublican Today? “R”otten, I bet…

I’m old enough to remember when the Republican Party wasn’t a racist, homophobic, misogynistic cess pit of White Nationalist tribalism and Trumpian treason.

I can remember when that “R” GOP-ers stick next to their names used to stand for “Republican”. Now it could just as easily stand for “Russia”. Or “Rape” or “Racist”.

I can remember when Republicans brought receipts (“receipts” being an “R” Republicans no longer have a relationship with). Now they bring lies and bullshit by the bucket.

And they bring treason. How must lifelong Republican Robert Mueller felt today, staring across the table at the Republican faces staring back — while they (totally without credibility) tried to undermine his. On paper it’s obscene. In reality it was even worse. Imagine how it must have felt to Mueller to be attacked by the likes of Representative Matt Gaetz from Florida (he of a dozen or so DUI’s) or Ohio’s Representative Jim Jordan (he who enabled all that sexual assault to go on on the Ohio State University wrestling team). Imagine, if you will, having to take shit from Louie Gohmert — easily the stupidest man in all of Texas.

Imagine arriving at what you know is a pivotal moment in American history and YOUR party-members are clearly doing everything in their power to obstruct justice while aiding & abetting the hostile foreign power that is attacking us as we speak. Just so we’re clear — America IS absolutely under attack. We are deep into a cyber war — and getting our asses kicked in large part because we refuse to acknowledge that this is what’s happening.

The citizens of Pearl Harbor had no idea that war had been declared on them. They did, of course, when the Japanese arrived and began bombing, but just because the bombs hadn’t started dropping doesn’t mean they weren’t coming. It doesn’t mean a state of war didn’t exist — that only one side knew was on.

That’s a lot like our situation. We’ve been slow to wake up to the fact that we’ve been cyber attacked. Are still BEING cyber attacked. That cyber attack includes disinformation warfare. As we know from experience — it’s incredibly effective.

Robert Mueller sounded the alarm bells. It was one of the few times he stepped outside the framework of his report. But he was emphatic. Russia is attacking us right this very second.

As he stared across the table at his fellow Republicans, Robert Mueller knew damned well — he was staring at people who were betraying not just his party and its supposed ideals but the country. Robert Mueller had to know today that his Republican Party doesn’t exist anymore.

I Made A Terrific New Friend Yesterday — My Diametric Opposite

I am not making this up. I met my diametric opposite a few days ago. We kinda it it off. By yesterday, when we parted ways, I couldn’t get him out of my head.

Come the fall, my daughter will matriculate at UC-Davis. Despite the havoc Prop 13 wreaked upon California’s educational system, our state universities remain a shining example of what public education can be. For two days, we were both plunged into the University’s culture — my daughter off with the students, me off with the parents. As this isn’t my first time at the UC Rodeo, I was familiar with the tropes. The nuggets of good, UC-Davis-specific info were massively outnumbered by well-meaning-but-generic suggestions about dealing with our freshman angst and our own.

My new friend Gary and I started chatting — just because we were sitting near each other while waiting for one of the information sessions to start. We all wore badges with our names, our student’s first name and their intended major. That way, all the parents had a way to break the ice with each other — just by reading each others’ badges.

I’m not subtle in a room. Gary saw me immediately for what I was — a progressive. Gary did a little “lawyerly” poking around. He showed me a picture of a Remington rifle he was interested in buying. It was a nice-looking rifle. Not my thing but, still, my under-reaction surprised Gary.

The subject of marijuana had come up. I forget why. It seems to come up a lot around me. Gary had recently developed type 2 diabetes. When he and I and the two other hookey-playing dads sat down for an off-campus beer, Gary and I were the only non-drinkers. I asked if he ever used cannabis instead. Gary said he almost did once (at UC-Davis — he was a very proud alum) but hadn’t since — and really couldn’t because of his work.

Gary, ya see, is a judge. A very conservative judge from a very conservative part of California. The instant I heard Gary was a judge, I was captivated. I grew up a surgeon’s son. While I thought of my dad as “dad”, other people revered my dad because of what he did — and did for them. Working as I have in show business, I’ve seen people be revered because they can memorize dialogue and act it out on cue. But, perhaps because I grew up being unimpressed, I became immune to being impressed. Gary being a judge (never mind his politics) made him a guy with a job I wanted to know more about. The perfect basis for a friendship.

Now, I hope Gary will forgive me for this. I’m about to give away his secret. He’s a profoundly decent man. His care and compassion for drug addicts — his work on their behalf to keep them out of the penal system (but with the penal system’s threat very real) makes him a hero. There’s a saying in the Talmud: “Save one life, you save the world”. I told Gary that’s what he was doing. He downplayed it. The last laugh is mine — I’m shouting it from the rooftops here.

The truth is, because Gary isn’t a doctrinaire conservative — and I’m a pragmatic progressive — we found an amazing amount of, if not common ground, then ground where structures could be built where we both could live. It’s funny how when you put politics — even differing politics — inside decent people, one hears the differences but one also sees a way to get past them. Decency is a remarkable thing, I tell ya!

Decency means you have to listen sometimes — and wait your turn to counter. You have to argue facts and not feelings. You have to stay reasoned and reasonable.

I have a confession to make. I used what my new friend Gary told me about himself against him. And he let me. The subject of Donald Trump came up. The subject of Russia came up. The subject of Robert Mueller and The Mueller Report came up.

Gary said he hadn’t read the report, didn’t intend to, and thought it was a waste of time. That’s when I played dirty. I talked to my new friend Gary as the compassionate, law-abiding judge I knew he was — there was video, news reporting — testimonials from drug addicts who’d been saved from their own demons. Gary is especially fond of his time in drug court. He’s put more than a few demons to the sword there.

I put Robert Mueller into Gary’s courtroom,. Was Mueller a “good witness”? Purple Heart War Hero… Second longest-serving FBI Director… a man who’d spent his whole career as a public servant — whose reputation even now remains sterling. I asked — if the evidence presented in the 488 page Mueller Report was evidence presented in HIS courtroom, how would Gary feel about it?

I told you — Gary is a very decent man. He did not disagree that AG Bill Barr misrepresented Robert Mueller and his work product. The more we talked about the subject, the quieter Gary became. I don’t argue feelings. I argue facts (and I can back up everything with receipts if needed because I’ve learned the hard way — it sucks being humiliated by someone who does bring proof that they know whereof they speak). But feelings are part of the equation and depending on how intense those feelings are, the facts can easily get de-contextualized. A fact out of context is a statistic waiting to be abused.

Gary and I talked about the 2nd amendment too. We talked about how it’s worded. We talked about guns and gun culture. Though it pains me to say it, i don’t see how we’d ever make America a giant gun-free zone. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t work toward it. My bet is the more women flood the political system, the tighter gun restrictions will be because mothers hate the thought of anyone’s baby getting shot.

Guns will be a series of conversations we’ll have over time, I bet. I believe we will have those conversations. And though we won’t see eye-to-eye, I believe we’ll begin to see ways to bridge the chasm. Decency, I believe, will make the chasm harder to maintain. I hope that Gary’s decency was a reflection of my own. Having someone listen to you — really listen — changes things.

I bonded with Gary. I found a compadre (and a partner in crime). I found someone whose world fascinates me — as my world fascinates him. I doubt we’ll ever have the same war stories.

As someone who rages against political opponents like a fool shrieking into the void, I found it incredibly satisfying to listen. To ask questions. To understand the perspective that made another person who they are.

I guess that’s what happened. I looked inside the heart of another person — and saw them beneath what they thought.

I can’t say for sure if this new friendship will endure. I want it to. I already come away from it enriched by it.

How Bad Is It? For The First Time, I’m Not Entirely Sure How This Shit-Show Turns Out…

I’ll own it: I over-bet on Robert Mueller and the Mueller Report. I over-bet on his reputation as a soldier and as a law enforcement professional. I over-bet on a career spent inside the box thinking outside the box.

None of that’s on Robert Mueller. It’s all on me. Instead of filling the silence with despair like a Bergman movie, I filled it with hope. I thought all the clear criminality I could see (well, me and a lot of the twittersphere — the detail-oriented, back-it-up-or-it’s-bullshit part of the twittersphere) was sitting there like a ball on a batting T. All Team Mueller had to do was pick up a bat.

Even that was a problem apparently. Robert Mueller felt hemmed in by that Department of Justice memo meant to keep Spiro Agnew from pardoning Richard Nixon. We’re riding the leading edge of an historical ripple effect — an unintended consequence of tragic proportions. Unable to charge a sitting president — and reluctant apparently to anger Trump by charging his children (and risk his work product being destroyed), Robert Mueller pulled his punches. He tipped everything in Congress’ direction.

But — here’s where I over-bet again — Mueller didn’t count on his good friend Bill Barr betraying him by completely mischaracterizing his work product — by telling America that he, Robert Mueller, had just let Trump off the hook. Mueller didn’t count on Bill Barr being there for the express purpose of obstructing the very justice Robert Mueller had just spent 2 1/2 years pursuing. Mueller has raised his voice and complained. He even broke ranks — a little — to insist that we all read his report.

He’s right. Everyone should. A lot of very painful truth sits inside those 448 pages. It defies explanation that the Truth sits there — right in the middle of us — yet the villains of the piece continue to walk free — as if they’ve bamboozled not just us but logic itself.

Personally, I don’t care if Robert Mueller says he’ll only repeat what’s in his report if called before Congress. He’s a private citizen now. No special privileges. You get called, you answer. The questions we have won’t necessarily concern just what’s inside that report. There’s the relationship with Bill Barr that needs looking into. Mr. Mueller will have to answer those questions. He’ll be under oath.

But why should it come to that? Why isn’t Robert Mueller demanding an hour of prime time to speak directly to the American People?

Yeah… I over-bet big time.

I’m an optimistic person by nature. Never Say Die. That’s me. I believe there are enough good people to overcome this shit. I’m not sure what will be left when we get finished pulling it back from the career criminals that used to be the Republican Party. I appreciate that Nancy Pelosi wants to do this by the book. The Rule Of Law is or it isn’t.

Great thought. Noble as hell. But the Rule Of Law takes time — and I’m not sure that time’s on the schedule. Sometimes, you have to work with what you have. If time’s short, Madame Speaker — you need to improvise a little. Just sayin’.

Today, Donald Trump outed himself completely. He must know that Donald Trump Junior is about to get nailed for knowingly taking info from foreign sources. Trump and the republican party are blasting away the obstacles that say that’s not just unacceptable, it’s illegal. Not anymore it isn’t, not anymore.

Rachel Maddow said something tonight that got me thinking. We expected that once all this got out into the light, nature would take its course. Law enforcement would “happen” because that’s how the Rule Of Law works. Except the Rule Of Law’s gone missing.

Today, watching Republicans not respond to Trump’s inviting every foreign country on the planet to have a go at our elections, it struck me how screwed up we are. From the moment it became clear that Trump was going to be the republican nominee, I’ve been yawping that Trump would be the end of the republican party. He absolutely has been.

I didn’t for two seconds imagine however that Trump would be the end of the Republic, too.

A bad outcome isn’t written in stone. But the republicans made it crystal clear today just how ugly this is going to have to get before there’s any chance of it getting better. Trump knows for a fact: the instant he stops being POTUS, his legal nightmares begin. He will go to prison — IF he ever stops being POTUS. The same now applies to the whole damned republican party. They, too, have thrown all in. (Shriveled, old) balls to the wall.

We are going to be subjected to a Bond Movie ending that gets bigger and bigger, louder and more complicated with a Teflon villain who just won’t go down. We The People are the majority. We WILL get to the other side of this.

I just worry about what-all will still be here to save.

The World Doesn’t Work The Way Donald Trump Thinks It Does…

Donald Trump thinks every human transaction is a deal where someone wins and the other guy loses.  He could not be more wrong.  But then, he’s an Epic Narcissist — and he can ONLY see the world from his incredibly narrow, infantile perspective and FROM his incredibly narrow, infantile perspective, he needs to ‘win’ everything.

That means Donald Trump is ‘Transactional’.  He sees no value in relationships other than as one more means to leverage someone.  When a person no longer serves a purpose to Donald, they exit his sphere — having been booted from it, NDA in hand.

But, our friend Donald is learning — as we are — that the world is not transactional, it is almost entirely ‘RELATIONAL’.  Relationships are the REAL currency human beings rely on.  That is why Vladimir Putin has focused so much of his energy on disrupting America’s RELATIONSHIP with Europe.  He sees NATO as his enemy — its Treaty of Mutual Protection as the ‘shield’ that keeps him from even daring to pull another ‘Crimea’ in Eastern Europe.

You cannot solve the Middle East by ‘cutting a deal’.  The hurts go back not just generations but millennia.  No amount of cash can assuage wounds of that nature.  Truth is, only violence can — retribution and the feeding of old grudges.  It’s one of the ugly Truths about humans; it’s why some conflicts are and will always be intractable.  They will always be time bombs whose volatile, unstable fuses could go off any second.

Here in America, certain Americans are learning that same terrible lesson — that Life’s RELATIONAL and if you empower a man who thinks YOUR PAIN can be bought — your pain will remain while HE, strangely, gets richer.

Donald — apparently — thinks he can bamboozle Robert Mueller.  God, I hope that’s true.  It means Donald Trump thinks he can ‘Transactionalize’ Robert Mueller — cut a deal with him where (Trump being Trump) Donald Trump WINS and Robert Mueller LOSES.  But then, Donald Trump (being transactional) is MISSING the fact that Robert Mueller has NEVER behaved that way and, in fact, has spent is PROFESSIONAL CAREER prosecuting people (like Donald) who did.

Robert Mueller is not impressed with power.  He is impressed with The Rule of Law.  That is the only ‘Transaction’ Robert Mueller comprehends.  Whether Donald Trump speaks directly with Robert Mueller or not, this Shit Show is heading toward its climax.

With this morning’s tweet, Donald Trump demonstrated again his utter disregard for the Truth and for how this country actually functions.  The goal is for as many people as possible to flourish and thrive as much as possible — which, in turn, makes even MORE people flourish and thrive.

Data says that’s how it actually works.  Because the world is so RELATIONAL.

Donald Trump will never ‘learn’ this lesson.  I hope like hell WE finally have…

This Is The Part Of The ‘Scientific Experiment’ Where We Make A ‘Leap Of Faith’…

Exoplanet

How do you ‘see’ something you cannot see?  How can you see a faraway planet when it’s too far away, too small and too indistinguishable?  Turns out, there are methods — and, if you follow them with scientific rigor, you really can SEE something without actually ‘seeing’ it…

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/how-do-astronomers-actually-find-exoplanets-180950105/

Transit… Brightness… Velocity…

Evidence of Movement… Evidence of ‘impact’ on another object’s brightness… Evidence of detectable ‘speed’.

America is a Scientific Experiment still very much in progress.  All evidence has suggested so far that the Experiment’s planners did a pretty good job of setting up their lab — with one or two shockingly egregious errors that we continue to pay for — they’re that big and that egregious.  Slavery, for instance.

But, in most ways, they set in motion an Enterprise That Changed The World.  Part of that Enterprise is the means for every branch of government or every kind of power to ALWAYS be checked by another.  Nothing and No One could EVER have Absolute Power.  Like a King.  THAT WAS THE POINT.

Fortunately, a few people who haven’t betrayed us to Mother Russia STILL work the trade there in DC — and they’re doing it behind doors closed so tightly not even LIGHT can get out.

Robert Mueller, when he took the mantle of Special Counsel, understood immediately the GRAVITY of the gig — and he saw via what happened to James Comey (and the Comey Letter) what happens if you let ANY kind of information about what you’re doing get out before it’s ready.  Being a soldier and an Officer and an Educated Man and a Career Law Enforcement Guy, Robert Mueller knows a Criminal when he sees one.  He knows Organized Crime when he sees it.  He knows RUSSIAN Organized Crime when he sees it.  He knows HOW Russian Organized Crime ‘works’ and WHO Russian Organized Crime works for —

putin-gun-8

This guy — who also happens to be a highly trained, highly competent and highly MOTIVATED Intel Officer.  He also happens to be the wealthiest man in the world cos he’s so corrupt and seems bent on becoming the Wealthiest Man That Could Ever Be Possible For The Rest Of Recorded Time, Too (While He’s At It).

Robert Mueller walked in the door KNOWING what this was about (it started as a COUNTER-INTEL OP, right?  It already had Russia’s scent in its nose).  He didn’t ‘stumble over’ Russia ‘to his shock and horror’, Robert Mueller started out with the question — “What the HELL did Russia pull off while WE were all SLEEPING?”

We know — from the evidence of our ‘lack of evidence’ that Robert Mueller has behaved a lot like a BLACK HOLE (let’s nudge the science analogies a little further along) —

A stellar-mass black hole in orbit with a companion star located about 6,000 light years from Earth.

Black Holes cannot be seen, they can only be inferred from the behavior of everything around them.  We can’t ‘SEE’ their GRAVITY but the presence of their Gravity is evident — because everything around the Black Hole IS RESPONDING (whether it likes it or not) to the Black Hole’s GRAVITY.  The INDISPUTABLE FACT is — BLACK HOLES HAVE GRAVITY.

That same scientific methodology tells us — via the behavior of all ‘bodies’ in the Robert Mueller Universe that nothing — NOTHING — has MORE GRAVITY than Robert Mueller.  No one — not even Donald J Trump — is behaving (at present) as if he has some way to escape the BLACK HOLE-LIKE GRAVITY of Robert Mueller.

None of Donald Trump’s handlers or enablers have done or said ANYTHING to suggest that THEY think THEY can break the Death Grip of Black Hole Mueller’s Gravity.   Just the opposite — the Trump camp keeps banging away at hair-brained schemes and inventions like a deranged Wile E. Coyote…

wile-e-coyote-acme-products

Doesn’t end well for Wiley, right?  It ends horribly as it always does.

Gravity always wins and EVERYBODY knows it.  Like now.

These are dark, darker, DARKEST DAYS.  Even the ‘Always-Late-To-The-Dance’ MSM finally gets it:  Donald Trump is an Authoritarian.  He doesn’t just talk that talk, he walks it.  Sorry — he goosesteps it.  Or has OTHERS GOOSESTEP it while he grins and waves and acts like he ISN’T the Biggest Fucking Traitor In The Whole History of Traitors.

But, remember — GRAVITY.  Even Donald Trump knows he cannot defeat GRAVITY.  And GRAVITY is ROBERT MUELLER.

If we’re honest with ourselves, the case against Donald Trump is massive — and that’s just what’s Publicly Available.  We KNOW — cos ‘that’ evidence also is PUBLICLY AVAILABLE — that Robert Mueller has or has access to EVERYTHING HE WANTS (up to and including Donald Trump’s tax returns).

Robert Mueller isn’t investigating ‘Is It Or Isn’t It?’, he’s investigating ‘How Far Back Does This Goddamned Thing GO?’  Not.  The.  Same.  Thing.

Silence is terrifying to Humans.  Even well-adjusted Humans with incredible patience arrive at a moment where it’s time to cut bait and do something else.  But it’s almost always True that ‘silence’ only means you can’t ‘hear’ all the available sound.  It’s like assuming that the light we humans see is all the light there IS to see.  Not so.  Not so at all.

In the case of Robert Mueller, his silence does not mean an absence of presence.  He absolutely EXISTS.  And it does not mean that Robert Mueller has ‘nothing to say’.  It only means he has not ‘said it’ yet.  For a reason that he understands to be essential to the Truth he will speak when ready.  Gravity follows set rules.  It behaves as it behaves.

Though I am not a ‘person of faith’, I have ‘Faith’ in Science — in the ways the Science attacks a question so as to get a REAL answer and not an Ooga-Booga one.  Having ‘faith’ in Science means that, occasionally, I have to have ‘faith’ in its methods.

In this case, I cannot SEE what IMPACT Robert Mueller will have on ‘The Catastrophe That Is Donald J Trump And What He And The Republican Party Are Doing To America’.  But I can ‘see’ the impact Robert Mueller is having on everyone in his ‘ORBIT’.  And that tells me one thing and one thing only:  The INSTANT Robert Mueller begins DROPPING INDICTMENT BOMBS — the whole ‘NATURE’ of our ‘conversation’ will change.

As in COMPLETELY.

As in we’ll be asking on a ‘Breaking News’ Basis — ‘Is THIS The Part Where They Take Donald J Trump From The White House In Handcuffs Or Did We Miss That Already With All The OTHER Republicans Being Marched Out In Handcuffs…?’

It is coming to that.  It WILL.  The deep, maternal IRE of this country has been roused and it will not go back to how it was.  Cruelty to Children is a line in the sand even a redneck narcotized on Big Pharma-grade opioids can sorta-kinda see in the sand.

Robert Mueller knows — he has the hard evidence — what, why, how, when, where RUSSIA RE-ROUTED ELECTION 2016 Away from the Will of the American People and TOWARD Russia and a coteries of Hard Right White Christian Male Loonies (who also happen to be disgustingly rich).  Robert Mueller KNOWS that Election 2016 was neither FREE, nor FAIR.  He knows what we experienced was a ‘soft COUP D’ETAT’ — and that the recipients of the Big Prize were Vladimir Putin & The Republican Party.

Robert Mueller is A Man of Honor (so says the data).  He is a man who believes unerringly in the RULE OF LAW (so says the data).  He is a man still in possession of 100% of HIS INTEGRITY (so says the data).

Robert Mueller knows — this isn’t just about fixing a small item or two.  It’s the Whole Damned Thing.  It’s The Future Of The Republic that’s at stake.  For Reals.

All ‘visible evidence’ says we’ll come out of this okay.  Maybe not unscathed (we’re pretty damned scathed already!) but okay.  Alive.  Able to walk.  Given a few paces, maybe even able to run or jog.  There won’t be time for a hospital stay.  We’re going to have to get healthy on the fly.

But I think we’ll do it.

Ugh — there’s that word again — the one I have no use for:  “Faith’.  Maybe when it comes to people (all Trumpians excepted), a little ‘Faith’ is a good thing.
